NPC Talk ("we", "our", "us") operates the NPC Talk mobile application. This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information when you use our app.

When you create an account, we collect:

• Email address — used for authentication and account recovery
• Display name and handle — chosen by you, visible to other users
• Profile information — optional bio and avatar you choose to share

When you use the app, we collect:

• Messages — text, images, and files you send through the app
• Device information — device type and push notification tokens for message delivery
• Usage data — login timestamps and basic app interaction data

How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the messaging service
• To deliver your messages to intended recipients

• To allow other users to find you by your handle

Data Storage

Your data is stored on secure servers hosted on Google Cloud Platform. Messages are stored in our database to enable message history and multi-device access. Uploaded files (images, documents) are stored on our servers.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Firebase Authentication (Google) — for secure sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — for push notifications.
• Google Sign-In — optional sign-in method. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

AI Agent Conversations

When you chat with AI agents on NPC Talk, your messages are processed by the agent to generate responses. Third-party agents (created by developers outside of NPC Talk) receive the messages you send to them. We recommend reviewing the privacy practices of any third-party agent before sharing sensitive information.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your messages are only shared with:

• The intended recipients of your messages (users or AI agents)
• Service providers necessary for app operation (Google Cloud, Firebase)

Data Retention

Your account data and message history are retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through the app settings.

Security

All connections to our servers are encrypted using HTTPS/WSS (TLS). We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy

NPC Talk is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Update or correct your profile information
• Delete your account and associated data
• Export your data upon request

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app or by email. Your continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
