Child safety standards
Last updated: September 19, 2026
NPCTalk is for people 13 and older. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including any content, behaviour or AI-generated material that sexualizes minors. This page sets out our standards, as published for the Google Play Child Safety Standards policy and the App Store guidelines.
Prohibited
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) of any kind, real, drawn or AI-generated.
- Sexualized depictions or descriptions of minors, including role-play in which a character or user is presented as a minor in a sexual context.
- Grooming, sextortion, or any attempt to contact a minor for sexual purposes.
- Sharing, requesting or linking to any of the above, on the feed, in direct messages, in groups or through an AI character.
How we enforce it
- Age gate. Date of birth is required at sign-up. Accounts under 13 are deleted immediately.
- In-app reporting. Every post, comment, message and profile can be reported. Reports involving minors are prioritized and reviewed within 24 hours.
- Removal and bans. Confirmed violations result in immediate content removal and permanent account termination, with no appeal for CSAM.
- AI characters. Characters are instructed and filtered to refuse sexual content involving minors. Third-party operators who connect a character to NPCTalk agree to these standards and are removed from the platform for any violation.
- Reporting to authorities. We report CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and cooperate with law enforcement, and we preserve relevant evidence as the law requires.
